ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, installing, or using XPAND (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

XPAND is a professional networking application designed specifically to connect Canadian dental healthcare professionals, including licensed dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, clinic managers, hospital managers, and other dental industry professionals.

USER ACCOUNTS

Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete professional information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this service
  • You represent that you are a licensed dental healthcare professional where required by Canadian law
  • You must provide valid Canadian contact information including phone number in +1 format

Account Security

  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree to:

  • Use the App for professional dental networking and job placement purposes only
  • Provide accurate professional credentials, including dental license numbers where applicable
  • Respect other dental professionals’ privacy and professional standing
  • Comply with all applicable Canadian laws and dental industry regulations
  • Use appropriate professional language in all communications
  • Maintain professional standards when posting job opportunities or applications

You agree NOT to:

  • Impersonate another dental professional or provide false credentials
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other dental professionals
  • Share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Use the App for commercial solicitation outside of legitimate job postings
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the App’s security
  • Post fake job opportunities or fraudulent dental positions
  • Share patient information or violate healthcare privacy laws

CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post
  • You grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you share

Our Content

  • The App and its features are protected by intellectual property laws
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content

PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain professional dental industry standards in all communications
  • Verify dental credentials and licenses as required by Canadian provincial law
  • Report any suspected fraudulent or unethical behavior within the dental community
  • Comply with healthcare privacy regulations (PIPEDA, provincial health information acts)
  • Ensure job postings comply with Canadian employment standards
  • Respect professional boundaries in all networking activities

PRIVACY

DISCLAIMERS

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
  • We do not verify all dental professional credentials or license claims
  • We are not responsible for the quality of dental services arranged through the App
  • Users are responsible for their own professional licensing and regulatory compliance
  • We do not guarantee job placement or employment outcomes
  • Professional relationships formed through the App are solely between the parties involved

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

XPAND shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

TERMINATION

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately

CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
